ELED will cover North East London and South West Essex with transmitters based in Ilford, Romford and Brentwood.

The minimum coverage area will be 726 square km, and the total population within the area is 959,705. Our plans show that up to 1.2 million people, including listeners in East London and North Kent, will comfortably receive the service on their existing DAB+ radios. (source: Ofcom)
